What to Eat Wednesday!

Starting today, on Wednesdays, I'll be making a post on something that we could all benefit from adding to our diet.

For today's What to Eat Wednesday, it's Simply Grapefruit Juice!


Recently, I've been reading a lot of articles about foods that can speed up your metabolism. One of the recurring ones that I've found is grapefruits and grapefruit juice. One of the best explanations that I've found on all of the health benefits can be found here.

Simply put, grapefruit juice helps keep your immune system strong, can fight cancer, can help prevent diabetes, and can help burn more fat. When combined with protein, it speeds up your metabolism.

I've started drinking two 4 oz. servings a day with breakfast and with a snack during the day. If you looking to speed up your metabolism, this might be something for you to try! Just make sure you get a juice that doesn't have any added sugar.

Thanks for writing this! I was just looking for a grapefruit juice a few days ago at the grocery store with no added sugar and couldn't find one. Can't wait to try this kind!
